Synopsis

Goshen Pictures is pleased to announce production of its next feature-length film (documentary), Chrysalis (working title). Filming has been underway since January and follows the creation of a new farm dedicated to workforce development. The documentary explores the people, planning, challenges, and collaboration required to transform an ambitious vision into reality. Inspired by the life cycle of the monarch butterfly, the film is structured in three stages. The first introduces the original vision behind the project. The second follows the leadership responsible for bringing that vision to life. The third focuses on Project Manager Dennis McClung, who has documented the journey from the very beginning while serving as the film's narrator. The documentary concludes as the farm welcomes its first clients, symbolizing the butterfly taking flight. Through interviews with staff, volunteers, interns, and others connected to the project, Chrysalis explores how individual actions combine to create lasting change. Production will continue through the opening of the farm, with post-production planned for the fall and an anticipated release in November. Additional details, official artwork, and a trailer will be announced as production continues.
